I did it see, the film was great. Although that was a great scene, I don't think it is one of the greatest scenes in movie history.

It was a not too bad scene. It is defiantly not a "greatest" scene. A better "rain" scene is the one in 'Spider Man' when he kisses Mary Jane upside down.

It is nothing when compared to the scene in Casablanca between Rick and Ilsa or the one in Gone with the Wind between Gable and Leigh. Some embraces are heraldic in their posture and others are not.

This was one of the saddest parts of the film. It is an excellent tear-jerker.
