Who remembers Valerie Singleton and the others? They always had projects on the go, stuff that you could make at home and it always involved an old washing-up bottle and some sticky back plastic. I seem to remember they making a Thunderbirds rocket! If you remember the programme, what do YOU think was the best thing they made?

I remember making a piggy bank using washing up bottle. Had to wait ages for mum to empty the flaming thing and was so excited when i'd finished it.
Thanks for giving me that memory back.

I remember making a desk tidy for all of my pens and stationary, from my washing up bottle. Never quite got around to getting my blue peter badge though, did you?

some issues were more desirable made in some procedures. there became of route more desirable metallic and timber and a lot less plastic in maximum issues, so that that they had a more desirable major, a lot less flimsy visual attraction. yet products are equipped round what the clothier perceives because the customer's expectations for its existence expectancy. maximum individuals anticipate a vacuum purifier to very last about 15 years; they might pay somewhat more desirable for one which will very last 20, yet almost not something more desirable for one which will very last 30, when you consider that they're going to be searching for the present sort through that aspect. that's portion of the reason placed up-conflict fridges have shorter lifespans than prewar ones; previously the conflict, the regular public became suspicious of the toughness of those severe priced equipment; some had reliability complications, regardless of the indisputable fact that those that did not tended to be overbuilt and lasted continuously. After the conflict, the market concluded that maximum individuals will be searching to "improve" after 15 or 20 years, so that they lightened up and aspects that were designed for an prolonged existence. This made the fashions of that era higher, lighter, more cost-effective or perhaps more desirable powerful, yet their existence became shorter. of route, there have been exceptions to that rule, and the 50 year-previous refrigerator you spot on YouTube is possibly more desirable equipped than maximum of what became bought decrease back then. TVs from that era seem more desirable everlasting than at present's fashions, with metallic chassis and authentic timber circumstances, yet they mandatory to be repaired some times a year. at present's TVs artwork reliably at the same time as they very last, yet most of the aspects bypass out of production after a year or 2, so in the journey that they die after that, they are unrepairable. countless the flaws we purchase at present will live on previous all and sundry's expectations, yet we do not recognize which of them they are. at the same time as human beings locate those products, they're going to marvel at how a lot more desirable issues were made at present than at that aspect 20 or 30 years into the destiny.

A water gun....Particularly good fun during the summer.

Take off the cap...Fill with water....replace the cap... point it at your friends (Preferrably outside) and squeeze!

Laugh at them getting soaked...HaHa!

Dunno if that was Blue Peter or just us kids having fun.
