Hire a PI to locate him or if money is tight, (and sometimes they are in this situation), get a friend to find him.
This is how you do it. Think of a place you know he will be (i.e work, church, or a favorite hang out) then follow him until he reaches what appears to be his home. Then turn that in as last known address. It worked for my cousin, Good Luck.

Look in the white pages you do not have to go near him the lawyers send the papers and in some states no he doesn't have to sign under the circumstance of domestic violence you should be able to get your divorce with no problem.

If there's no address in the court records then you could only find it through someone you know. You don't have to see him. Also, if you know where he works, they can deliver the papers to him there. Almost forgot... your lawyer should be able to tell you what options you have if he refuses to sign. Usually after some number of years, you can divorce without his permission.

It doesn't make any difference hon, whether you want to know where he lives or not, the papers must be sent to him, AND he must sign them, sorry AND THEY MUST BE RETURNED TO THE COURT IN THE COUNTY YOU LIVE. You can have a marshal deliver them, you can send them registered mail, by passenger pigeon, by space ship, or whatever. He can be the world's mass murderer, and have three eyes, and a shotgun in his hand, and you can make any silly excuse you want to the law, hon, you still can't divorce him without his knowledge and signature, any more than he could divorce you without your knowledge. Get a grip, and find out where the dude lives.
You gotta be smart enough to figure out someway to find out where he lives if you really want the guy out of your life, and want a divorce... Or you can use this pansy excuse and remain married --- your choice...

Just send a friend to go check out his address, and to serve him the papers...... You can even get a county official to serve him.....Look him up on Yahoo's yellow pages.....Or the phone book, and or ask his old friends, or look up his job's phone number, and see if your friends can get his address from his job, somehow..... Just get with your friends or family members and put your minds to thinking of a way..... Oh, and about the devorce going through without his signing ..... My first husband & I got our devorce without my signature!! But, that was in the late "80s", but I think they have so long to respond and if they dont , its Unanimous for you to become legally devorced!! So, basically either way , you win, if you can get that address......In my state of Arizona, alls I had to do was run it in our local paper for three months, and during that time if he didn't respond I won the devorce..... Which I thought was wierd, because I told them he didn't live in Arizona, how was he going to get a chance to contest it, or not? They didn't even seem to care!!! Good-Luck, to you!! Smile!!!

I too filed for divorce in a domestic violence situation...I knew where he was, I just claimed "whereaboutsunknown" and my attorney ran my petition for divorce in the newpaper for six weeks. Of course, my ****** husband didn't have enough brains to ever read anything, so at the end of the 6 weeks, they set a court date which he knew nothing about, I showed, he didn't....DIVORCE FINAL, baby.

first off, things will go more quickly if he signs them, but if you try and he wont do it, you can still do the divorce. Second, if you have any idea where he is, you can do a yahoo phone or address search, or one of the many free online searches. You could call his or your lawyer if you had one, or the police in the county where your case was.

Yes.The divorce will not be final until both of you have signed the papers and go to court the judge also has to sign off on it as well. You can have the police assist you in getting his signature.

there has to be some womens' advocacy organization that can help you with this....try women in crisis, or call a local women's shelter and see if they know, or call the legal aid person back. Yes, he has to sign them.
