Is there a difference in culture?

I am from a country in SE Asia and I was surprised when I saw the questions in Answers: A lot of 14-year-olds have boyfriends or girlfriends and some even have sex. I am surprised because this is uncommon in my culture. Can anyone tell me what is the "legal" age to date in Asia?

I don't know, but will quess that it's twenty or twenty one.
There is really no "legal" age in this country when a person can "date".
