Firstly...WTF!??!?!?!
Secondly there are no stitches from a circumcision.
If there were stitches (which there aren't) ...I'm pretty sure they'd have been put in immediately as with a real operation, as opposed to letting you bleed out while you take the time on your laptop, on the operating table to type in to Yahoo Answers to ask dumb @$$ questions like this one.
Third...to answer your question as to what you should do? How's about you step away from the crack pipe...

I work in the OR as a surgical tech and YES they do use stitches. They only use a couple for babies and more for older males. Babies are not put to sleep during the procedure but you should have been put to sleep like any other surgery. I just assisted on a circ the other day on a 14 year old boy. Since you are put to sleep you are anesthesized. You are either full of it or you went to someone and somewhere that has not clue what they are doing. Stitches are used however, in fact, my son had to have an extra one put in when he had his done.
You people that keep saying sutures are not used are giving out false information. Absorbable sutures are used, usaly Vicryl. Go to any site and look up the procedure and it will tell you that suture is used, duh. I work in the OR everyday and have assisted in a ton of these suture is always used.

You poor thing. I am sorry to hear about this.
On the bright side, circumcision is only occuring in 15% of males in the world now, and most of them are in the united states.... and 50% of newborn boys in the united states are being left intact now.... as people are realizing it's not medically neccessary or "hygenic" as was once believed.... Out with the old, in with the new...
as for your pain, I can only say wait it out.... there's not much you can do, you can't put yourself back together, or make the pain of having your most sensitive bits mutilated go away. it will heal in time. best wishes.

you should have been anesthesized locally before the procedure.
then, right after the circumcision, you should be taking paracetamol 4 hourly for pain. there should be no bleeding after.

Well since this person seems to have a sick sense of humor along with the fact that they have posted this same question in 3 dozen other sites I say that we all simply report abuse. Some folks have nothing better to do with their time than act stupid and aren't ashamed to exhibit their lack of intelligence.

1. You don't get stitches.
2. The majority of males in the US are circumcised. (Regardless of what crazy fanatics say)
3. You should be mad at your parents for not having this done when you were a baby
4. It doesn't decrease sex drive. (Ask my husband)

I feel so bad that your parents allowed this to happen to you.
Unfortunately, in addition to all that you have experienced, you will have a permanent decrease in sexual sensation, since sexually sensitive tissue was removed.
And all because for some reason people think that performing cosmetic surgery on an infant who can not object is somehow acceptable.
At least you are not (so far, at least) one of the 200 male infants who DIE from this "procedure" every year in the United States.
