in any murder where someone's loved one is killed, or raped depending on the curcumstances it should be left up to the family members what happens to the person that did it, and not some judge who has no intentions on stopping crime. Are child molesters born or are they made. Look at all the sex that society promotes. Look all the violence that society promotes. As a matter of fact, if you do digging into very very wealthy male and female lives there are lot of perverted stuff going on, and because these people have money they don't get caught. They don't get talked about

I feel very strongly against sex offenders - however i don't necessarily have an opinion on wether they should be executed (i haven't even decided on execution as a subject in the whole), but i do know this.... i worked in a jail for a while as a therapist-and sex offenders, ESPECIALLY child sex offenders, are basically the lowest of the low on the Prisoner Pecking Order. Even amongst your murderers, abusers, robbers, whatever - those prisoners that are convicted of sex crimes basically have to be held in isolation because they'll be ganged up on or killed if they are let out into the main stream jail. In this case i say let em out of isolation and let the other prisoners have their way with them. That'd be torture near execution for sure!

First thought yes, but I think he should be tortured Let the men in prison find out he's a pedophile. They usually don't like child molesters.

Let them in with the general population of prisoners. They can't stand pedophiles and molesters. One child molester and a Catholic priest was sent to jail and he was killed by the inmates before even being in jail for 24 hours.

I say yes, because 99.9% of them are untreatable, cannot be cured, will do it again when opportunity presents itself. They won't stop doing it out of fear of imprisonment, and since they will never be able to STOP, what alternative is there? The registry isn't stopping it from happening. It only sometimes makes it easier to find ex offenders who may be living in an area of an abduction. I believe they will ALWAYS offend again & many of them believe that about themselves too.

Yes! but i think they must have 100% proof that the accused is really a child molester! too many people get sent to jail and stuff for things that they do not do!

I don't really care what they do with them aslong as they never walk the streets again. They serve no purpose in our society and they have no right to be part of it.
This story is one happy ending, but so many are not and while everyone is happy that boy has years of therapy. I hope he handles it well.

My friend is a cop. He said the punishments for child molestation are so severe now, that it encourages child molesters to kill their victims- since they might get away with that, but they won't get away if the kid talks.

no one should be executed,,,,,, while some perverts are born that way, some are influenced by their environment/upbringing,,,, i think our best beginning solution is to allow children to be /live in a personal violence free state, which means no hitting allowed,,,,,, as long as you allow parents to hit (doesn't matter if they try to clean it up and call it "spanking"), you really cant expect the child to grow up with a sense of normal respect for others, though many do!
