Anyone heard of a sequal to the movie cars yet?

i am not sure if they are making a second movie but on the cars movie there is a short movie
"Mater and the Ghostlight "
but other than that one i havent heard of anything else
would be great though if they did eh

There is no cars 2 planned and they do not have intentions of making one.

i doubt there will be. i just saw that movie last nite, for the first time
