Me and my mate are thinking of going to a hotel Spa Break for her birthday - with a few massages, facials etc to pamper us.
Problem is, I am a big girl (18/20) and worried that it will be full of skinny, model-looking girls - the type that are at my local gym and make me feel awful.
Anyone been?

I was a spa therapist for 4 years, you see all sorts of people of different shapes and sizes, the majority are about size 14 and over. Therapists meet so many people week in week out, I hardly remember anyone I did a treatment on.
Have a good time, it'll be fun!

I do massage in a 5 star spa. I would take a smiling, nice, clean person, regardless of size, over a rude skinny minny any day.
The worse clients are the ones with a sense of entitlement that treat you like a slave and not a partner in their spa experience. If you can connect with your therapist you will have a great time.

The therapists must see all shapes and sizes so i wouldn't worry. I've been on a few and it's not full of models believe me!

who cares what you look like? if your going to relax just do it.
i have mates who are a size6 n they always moan bout bein fat, its just body confidence. learn to love yourself for who youare not what you think you look like
