Not sure what you are asking either but both of these plants have natural plant extracts which are deadly to termites. One compound, called apiol, was extracted from wild celery (Ligusticum hultenii), which is actually a member of the parsley family. The other compound was cnicin, which was isolated from spotted knapweed (Centaurea maculosa). As you stated they both are common weeds throughout the US.
