Nothing's normal about pregnancy. Sorry you feel so sick. I had "morning" sickness all times of the day up until my ninth month. It could be triggered from anything from the smell of sweets, to the taste of hot tea.

Yes, your showing some of the horrible typical pregnancy signs. Feeling sick during pregnancy tends to be a different stages for every pregnancy so is never uncommon. I felt really bloated at 17 - 20 weeks pregnant. I'm now 33 weeks pregnant with my 2nd daughter and I have different pregnancy symptoms now so they do pass.
Good luck xx

Hi
Congratulations on your pregnancy.
I was sick the whole way through except for 3 days at 12 weeks when I felt good! I was sick until 10mins after I had the baby when I was able to drink a glass of water for the 1st time in many months! I would even wake up in the night vomiting, yuk. My mum was sick in the delivery room and my sister was still being sick for weeks after!!
I have heard that "morning" sickness is a good sign and shows that there are loads of pregnancy hormones, if that is any consolation!
Nothing stopped me being sick but you could try ginger biscuits, wrist bands and avoiding caffeine. I also read the other day about Cd's that can help with it (eBay?). And something called preggie pops I think but I didn't try them. Even water made me feel sick and as it is important to keep fluids up I used to suck on ice pops (was pregnant in June when it was boiling hot last summer) but my GP told me that warm water was less of a shock for the stomach and less likely to make me sick.
If you are losing weight or unable to keep anything down at all you should discuss with your midwife/GP.
I hope it stops for you soon it, you soon forget it when your baby is born and you cannot sleep anymore !!
Good luck x

You can have morning sickness all through your pregnancy, in the beginning of your pregnancy, in the middle of pregnancy, and even in the latest part of pregnancy, or even experience no morning sickness at all. All of this is completely normal. You may find relief in munching on saltines when you wake up (keep 'em by your bed) and eating several small meals throughout the day to keep your stomach settled. There are some motion sickness strips you can buy at Walgreens that you wear on your wrists to help also... they target an accupressure point that can alleviate nausea.

Sorry to say it but yes it's quite normal. Most people stop feeling sick after about 12 weeks but some of us lucky souls get it all the way through. Hopefully that won't happen to you and it will go off soon but if it does, you have my sympathy.

I can only speak from personal experience, but my two pregnancies were very different, with my first I was very sick only in the morning for the whole pregnancy, but with my secone it only lasted 4 mos. but I was sick all day. Everyone is different, but if you are unable to keep food down at all or are losing weight you should talk to your doctor.
