I'm not gonna trash u unless you're into that but I have always loved watching the Simpsons but I agree with someone who said they're going a bit stale.
Love Stewie (who doesn't) because I want my child to be exactly like him- so intelligent and funny yet so vulnerable. I think Family Guy is the adult version of Simpsons (better though) but I also love American Dad and wish that was on in Australia again.

Sometimes it can be good and funny but other times it can get very boring..Simpsons is a favorite,it has been on much longer,funny,almost every episode is worth watching and every character is good. Family guy is more of an adult cartoon,as is simpsons at times but family guy has more adult talk and scenes,i think that is why most adults like this cartoon more than simpsons. I still prefer simpsons from the rest though.

I love Family Guy, and prefer it to the dated comedy of the Simpsons. But....I have to give props to the Simpsons. They kept me amused in the early - late 90's. Before and during, Family Guy got into the scene in the late 90's, Simpsons was still tops in edgy animated comedy. I give my respects to the Simpsons for making me laugh for so long, but I do believe it's time for them to hang it up now.

Family Guy has fresher scripts these days. The Simpsons has gone a bit stale in recent years.

I love Family Guy, it's one of my all time favorites. But Simpsons paved the way for all adult cartoons. I can remember when my mom wouldn't let me watch it cuz Bart said "go to hell, man". It deserves respect simply for the fact that it lasted so long and people still love it. But Family Guy does crack me up more.

Simpsons is way better! Its just so funny and its always on sky one if it wasn't so good why would it always be on and its being going for 20 years if you think about it if it wasn't so great it wouldn't be so popular now! Would it?

i like the simpsons, i can watch it with my 8 year old son and not be to worried with the content, but when i can watch family guy alone i do

family guy gets me to lol so much more than simpsons, but have tp pay due respect to simpsons ...is it 20 years now? thats pretty cool....
