If a woman is dating with the intention of finding a husband, then, of course, she is judging whether they are "marriage material". Even on the first date. What's the point of dragging a relationship out, if there is no chance of compatibility?

Heres the thing...we're all different
If the girl doesnt wanna get married, if shes only in on it for a one night stand or something close to it...then no. I doubt a woman like that would judge you on weather or not your marriage material. And just like men can be like that...there ARE women who only want S**. I used to be one!!! I did NOT judge guys on marriage material. I had NO plans for getting married at all. My motto was that I wanted to play, and boys were my playground. Slutty huh? Terrible. I was younger and stupid.
Now on the other hand? Yes. If I'm going to date somebody, i dont want to date them to break up with them. ....I'm finished playing the field and I'm ready to find the right one. If i'm going to be with somebody, I want to try to make it work out..... My thoughts now are sourta more like "whats the point of being with you if we're just going to end it one day?".... its a waste of time!!....
All women are different. Just be yourself. Dont put on an act..... be your self ...and see where it takes you.

These are the women that are looking for Mr. Right. These are mostly the ones that have never been married. The ones that have been married are a little more cautious and are just looking for someone Nice to date. Men beware you are not the only ones that like to hunt!

Not me. When I first meet someone I'm judging their character and the thought of marriage never enters my mind.

not always, maybe when the relationship gets more serious, we do look at the man, and decide if he would make a good husband or not. but not when we first meet them. when we first meet them we are deciding if we are attracted to that person, if we like him, and if it would work out relationship wise.

Yes, i think that most women do. Most of htem ask theirselves: can I see myself with this man in another 10 years? Can I see myself marrying this man? Can I see myself having children with this man? On the other hand, you do have those women who ask theirselves: Can I see myself sleeping with this man and never ever seeing him again?

it depends, woman to woman. There are those women who are dating just to have fun, not to settle down, and I bet those women aren't looking for marriage material. THEN, you have those that are dating for the sole purpose of finding "the one."

I think that women don't tend to date unless there is chemistry. So with that said wouldn't chemistry imply the abilty to have a relationship and the eventual need to marry. My guess is yes.

Not true. Not all of us women want to get married. And even if we do want to some day, its not a constant thought.
