No, they're just interpretations of what is currently going on in your life. But if you have a dream where a deceased family member visits you, then you've received a message. It's up to you to figure out what it is.

Some dreams are. I had a dream years ago that I was on a plane. I had never flown before and I felt after waking up that someday I would fly. Four years later I did and it was just like the dream.

Other dreams are symbolic and meanings have to be interpreted. i.e., dreaming of bugs could indicate problems arising in the near future.

Then there are dreams that have no meaning at all. Some dreams are caused from what we see in our everyday lives and are not to be taken seriously.

I usually could tell the difference. I know when I have had a prophetic dream. You know by the feeling you get after you wake up from the dream.

The answer is greatly dependant on the dream. Some examples...

I dreamt about my daughter. She had long brown hair, brown eyes. Very smart, hard to get along with, very strong and often over baring attitude. She had a personality that dominated. She was slender, very pretty in the dream. And most of all, she called herself Jennifer Marie.

She is now, exactly as I had dreamt her... Before she was born almost 7 years ago.

---

I dreamt that I was standing beside a barn. There was a fire. Many animal bodies hanging above the fire. I became fearful. I started to run. As I ran, I felt something hit my back. I felt the warm blood running down my back. As I tried to enter the home I lived in, I could not get the door open. I immediately woke up to hear my dog barking with panick at the front door... My mother's boyfriend was taking my dog as he did the rest of the dogs in our home (we had 21 at the time). He was taking him out to the pasture to shoot him. My dog knew what was about to happen, and somehow I did too.

---

These are clarvoient dreams. Dreams like this, often come true.

But not all dreams are clarvoient. Some are metamorphic and speak to you about the things that are going on in your life. Some dreams are far more simple like having to use the restroom.

David used his dreams to save a nation...

I don't think so. Dreams are usually much more indirect in their meaning, and have more to do with emotional issues than actual events.

dreams means you did something you think isn't right. your subconscious brain didn't agree on an event that just happened previously. and keeps on trying to inform your conscious brain to fix it up.
