Are you sure it is super glue and not construction adhesive (glue)? It is very unusual to use super glue on wood. It does not do well with wood.

Any solvent you use will likely soak into the drywall, assuming that is what the wall is. If the wall is something else, we need to know what to give a more accurate answer.

Personally, I would just chisel it off if it is construction adhesive. There are things to try, like mineral spirits and laquer thinner. Again, if is drywall, it will cause more damage than the chisel.

In any case, plan on having to do some repair to the wall when you have the rail removed. Drywall is easy to fix.

There seems to be some confusion by a couple of people replying. You do NOT use finger nail polish to remove super glue, you use finger nail polish remover. Actually, that isn't really too good because it contains oils. Plain acetone is better. That is the active ingredient in the remover. Finger nail polish would make the problem much worse.

The only thing I can think that will not actually break the wall is to use nail polish. Pour a little at time and let stand. Try to lift the rail away. Try more nail polish. Let stand. Try again. You should see material dissolving or coming away from between the wall and the item.

This has worked for me. Can't really tell about your situation.

Normally , superglue should not be used in 'wet' areas, so it is likely that simply by wetting it for a while should loosen it enough to remove the rail from the wall.

Try using a little white spirit behind the part what is glued to the wall, but you will have to give it time to soften the glue before you try removing towel rail
