Well, Yes Kerala is the southern state of India. South India consists of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu. This is South india and the people from here are ofcourse called south indians. their language is nearly same if seen frm far. And interesting is Hindi being national language, S Indians dont know hindi much whereas North and West indian people are dipped in Hindi. (S.Indies dont mind we love you...whmmmaa!!kiss)These states have languages Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu and Tamil resp.Besides there are also Languages like Tulu(derived frm Telugu) and Tamil which are commonly spoken between Karnataka-Andhra and Kerala-Tamil Nadu resp. Well, South Indian food is very much popular all over india(specially for veggies idli, dosa and S.Indian cuisines like Sea food cooked in S.Indian spicy redy way,hmmmm!! lick) and even in some countries were there are indian Societies its available in restaurants too. It is also said that they are too much hard working and intelligent(S.Inds). Ohh ho. Well and Kerala is the most literate state of India.Reason, More females than males in the only state of india. Joking..... Well i can even tell you about the most attracted West India which has the cities like Mumbai(nations economy-commercial capital and the Bollywood city), Pune.. etc And Bout the interesting North India. And the Nature lovin North-Eastern India. But i suppose this much is enough for you today. Kerala is Southwestern State . Tamil Nadu is really considered the Southern State of India.
