Yes, there are cases of children being raised in some degree by animals. Here is a link of a boy who spent ages 3 to 6 with monkeys.
It's doubtful that a baby could go from infancy with animals due to how delicate they are.

You are probably correct. In the early 20th century, a lot of people thought that Tarzan was an actual person and thereby believed the story of a man being raised by apes.
It's a good story - but that's just what it is ... a story. There is no credible evidence that any human child was raised by apes.

There are some very real stories of wolfs doing that very same thing. So why not an ape that is more maternal then 90% of all of the animals that exist on this planet....But I do not believe that child would not survive for very long. For a human child is so fragile it surly would die of exposure..................................... But do to the fact that wolfs do have dens that would added greatly to that child's chances of survival.... Which has happen many times for there are a ton records of children being re-trained after living with wolfs................................ But there are also several stories out there of children being raised by apes......... There is also a news story out there, That states when a child fell into an ape habitat. A female ape put her life on the line to protect that child. So Again I say that it is very possible for a child to be raised by an ape.......................................................

Lord Greystone was made famous in movies as Tarzan
I think there was some truth behind it
There was also a wild boy found in India
His story was the inspiration for "Jungle Book" by R. Kipling where Mowgli was raised by wolves

I don't think it is a real story, it's a Victorian metaphor for the "civilising influences" of Britain - i.e White.
Some children have been raised as "feral". Their stories are both sad and very moving.

Yes, this really happened. My grandmother taped it on the news and showed me and my mother. That was her brother.
