Amplexus for birds: the male mounts the female from behind and deposits semen externally near the female's cloaca. There is no intromission.

It varies for fish. Most are egg-layers, where the eggs are deposited and the males then release sperm (milt) into the water to fertilize the eggs. Some livebearers (guppies) have internal fertilization, where the male sticks a modified anal fin called a gonopodium into (or onto) the female's genial canal to transfer sperm.
