There is no end to the decimal that is pi. It is the result of dividing 22 by 7. Some people pride themselves in remembering lots of it's numbers in a row (like 100, 500, 1000, etc.) It has been calculated to thousands and thousands of places.

Pi to one MILLION decimal places

You square a number by multiplying it by itself.

So 2^2 (read 2 squared) is 2 x 2 = 4
3^2 = 3 x 3 = 9

the whole no is 3 as mentioned above.
pi is a non- terminating and non-recurring decimal no. i.e. it does not end and the digits do not follow a specific pattern.
usually 3.14 or 22/7 is used in calculations at lower levels. like for school. but though many ppl think 22/7 is exact value of pi, it's not so. 22/7 when solved gives a recurring decimal no.
as for squaring a no. - multiply it by itself

as mentioned pi as a whole number is 3. a whole number means it does not contain any fractions.

To square a number you times it by itself, 3 squared is 9

pi isn't a variety it is an equation (sequence) the place the decrease is going to infinity, yet to genuinely think of roughly that think of of having a ball with a diameter of a million meter (it is not proper what unit you're utilising as long because it is a million) and initiate from one end and roll the ball to the different end on a flat floor...in case you measured this length it would be 3.14....

to square a numbe times it buy its self so like 3x3=9 so 9 would be 3 squared.
Hope this helps
