lactatin is one of the natural means of preventing pregnancy. the hormone that causes lactation , also inibits the hormones that make ur uterus ready for pregnancy . but its not completely trustable. coz sometimes lactating mothers also become pregnant. so i think u shud start using contraception right away
and say i said hi to ur lil baby too.

the safe period is 7 days before n 7 days after ur menstruation.but it's advisable to use condom 4 safety n clean.

i'm due any day now. and i've discussed birth control with my ob. even if you aren't having regular periods becuase reason such as breast feeding you can still get pregnant though chances are lower. if you are having a period now, you can pregnant. having a period means you are ovulating so be careful. good luck to you.

i heard that you are very very fertile after giving birth - I would always use protection if you don't want to get pregnant
