Racism will not disappear until all mankind disapears from this earth. People have classifications to justify being, who's better or the best. Until we understand we are all children of a higher being, and we are all human beings, racism will exsist. Just as the question implies black comedians would only be out of work. I hope for all people that racism does disappear and we will stop labeling one another.

As long as we distinguish between black and white, racism continues. As long as we know them as "BLACK comedians" and not just plain "comedians" racism is evident.
Of course then we have the issues of such things as "why is there a Black Miss America, but not an Asian Miss America or White Miss America? Why are there Black colleges, but not Asian or white colleges? and Why are there...."
Why should the color of one's skin make any difference.

I'm amused by your observation and touched by your optimism, ("When" racism ends). As for the comedians...I don't think they'll be applying for unemployment anytime soon.

goes to show angry people take care of their self, look at George Carlin, now he just looks like what he always has been, an angry old man, bitter....what you laugh at tells people and you what you are about, all racism is puke....I just hate it ....
