That's pretty morbid. If there was a situation like that I don't think any man from ages 18 to 45 would really have much of a choice.

When I was 36 they said uou are older than 35 when I was 39 they said you are older than 36 when I was 42 they said you were older than 39. All these years since 64 when they killed the second kennedy I have been primed for war. The thought of thought warfare scares them. We do not need angels yet!

Forgetting the fact that Iran is at a minimum 5 years away from being able to build a nuke, the fact that the conflict would rapidly escalate means it would all be over before I got to the induction center.

Ex Army here I would love to rejoin and would do so in a heart beat. Went through a bunch of crap with the recruiter....about to sign to rejoin and my DWI kept me out. Maybe that will change someday. But to answer your question. YES. I would join tomorrow without hesitation.

I joined the military in 1969, when public opinion was against Vietnam. For those who join the military, political views have nothing to do with it. It's a sense on duty to country. The country is not the president nor the congress. It's you and me. It's us. People who join the military do so for you.

Travel to far off exotic lands, Meet new and exciting people, and kill them. Sign me up!
I was in Iraq for the first "Fun In The Sun Tour" back in the 90's
It's a shame that we were not permitted to complete the job back then...

Yes, I would.
I tried to last year, but they denied me.
There are many benefits even if you're not called in, and if you are, oh well, in my case, at least my kids would eat, and I would've gotten the most excitement I've had in my whole life. You can't lose anything but your life, and that could happen in your own safe bed.

I use to love the Military but honestly I have a real bad view of it, not only is is without morality in my sight but it is a weak bully and they are loosing all the fool wars they are declaring, I would not rather be an enemy combatant and am.
