It is strangely obvious that the Untied Nations has no stance. That is how we got in this mess in the first place. Violation of 17 UN resolutions with no action from the UN put us in this position today. Simply put, there are countries in the UN that are doing everything in their power to have Iraqi Freedom fail. It would help end the conflict if the world would step up and assist the Iraqi people have a safe country to live in, but, it is all about making the US fail that seems to be their agenda.

UN is not happy with the ware against Iraq which Bush ignited in 2003 without the UN approval.UN also gives Iraqis the wright to resist US occupation.UN considers what is going on of mass killing and infrastructure destruction in Iraq and the bad security situation is US responsibility as it occupies Iraq.

You forgot! The war was between Iraq and the "coalition." Over one hundred UN members agreed to, and participated in, the invasion of Iraq.
France, Germany, and Russia opposed the move. It was later learned that Saddam Hussein bought them off with oil credits. So those who opposed do so because of greed rather than because of any moral reasons.

Who really cares? The United Nations has no control over the USA and it is really idiotic that people think the UN has that much power.

The current war in Iraq is illegal under that guidelines of the United Nations Security Council.
But during the first Gulf War, intervention was authorized by the UN. I think it was the right thing to do, to liberate Kuwait. The sad part is what happened afterwards during the last 13 years.
Bush & Co. was angry that Saddam was no longer thier poodle. Who do you think armed Saddam with all those weird weapons?
Saddam's rushed execution was carried out to hide Bush & Co's past guilts.

Apparently their reaction is to cower in the corner while they sort out how to explain their inaction or illegal action.
I kind of like the UN cowering in the corner, who wants to kick it while it's down???

17 condemning resolutions all arrogantly defied, if there was honour amongst the lot they would ALL be there restoring order.
But that pretty much defines the lack of honour and integrity with those that stand back and snipe...Doesn't it!
