I'm looking for a chronological order of Marvel Comics (like "in august 1968 these comics appeared:" and so on). I want to read some X-MEN comics and I need to know which one appeared first, and what is the correct appearance order for them. Thanks for helping everyone.

For what you want in magazine form:

X-Men Chronicles by FantaCo (not to be confused with the Marvel series). This has a checklist and issues in order.

X-Men Index (Marvel Comics) Very detailed listing including where the characters last/next appeared.

Both of the above can be found on ebay.

On DVD

40 Years of X-Men (great but does not have all the side titles (but since issues are scanned in their entirety you could read the Bullpen page and see the checklist for that month).

On Line:

Grand Comics Data Base (it is free and you can search by character).

Hope this helps.

contact the publisher or go to a collectors comic store.
publisher is probably the best bet because of possible mergers over the years.
