Both are such a great example of controversial rappers.But this is not the point of the question,i just wanted to know who is having a better lyrical skills.U know because some people might say that kanye is better becuase he dosen't rap 'bout gangsters and bitches bullshit,where as eminem do.Both are already in my 10 top list for the best rappers ever,but i just want to know your own opinion who's a bit better than the other.To be honest with yall,eventhough i'm a huge fan of eminem and his music,but still i gotta admit that his lyrics are-most of the times-meanigless(rappin 'bout killin people and blood shed and smokin hay...etc),unlike kanye's he's rappin 'bout political issues and stuffs like that.What do u think..?
P.S:Plz don't gimme silly answers like,2pac Shakur or biggie smalls are better than both cuz i already knows that and thankx..!

I feel that Kanye has the upper edge because he seems to be more musically talented. Works like Heard Em' Say, Through The Wire, All Falls Down and Diamonds From Sierra Leone shows how professional he is in combining his producing and rapping skills to create good music. Which other rapper can transform classic songs like Diamonds Are Forever and Through The Fire into upbeat tunes with powerful rap verses? For those who aren't too fond of rap (i'm not that into rap either), you guys should take note that Kanye is partly behind the success of John Legend, a great singer.

I am a really big fan of Kayne West. To me, hes not just a rapper, hes so much more, because he is sooo deep. He raps about things that give u inspiration, and thats what music should really be about, because anybody could turn on a good beat and rap about the usual girls and clubs and have a hit for about 3 weeks. But Kanye West makes songs that would be known for ever and he doesnt feel pressured to create songs that would appeal to the most ppl, he follows his heart and raps about things like religion (my ultimate favorite "jesus walks") and politics.

Kanye west is better, because eminem seems to rap about the same thing. I'll give him credit, he's not afraid to act stupid and rap about stupid stuff like being in a mental hospital and spitting on ur onion rings (lol). But Kanye west isn't afraid to rap about things not many rappers rap about like in jesus walks and diamonds. They both produce, but i think that kanye west beats are the sickest beats out there other than swizzy. So overall kanye takes it for me, even though he's been in the business for a shorter time.

They are both great artists but my personal favorite is Eminem. He does silly songs to straight political songs which show how versatile he is

I like eminem. He is real and just speaks his mind and does not care at all what everybody thinks. Freedom of speech has never sounded so good.
