Yes they should if you believe in Democracy. The Neocons are trying to make the Iraqis believe in a Republican form of government they aren't swallowing either just like America didn't come the last November elections.

well on one hand we are meddling on another we aren't. some of them (including their government) want our help so they can learn to impliment their police force etc so the training that we are over there doing is wanted by many of the citizens etc. unfortunately because we are doing that there are people who don't want the police force there etc so they are attacking which is where the war part comes into play. what would be wonderful but not plausible is if we could train their military and police force and be left alone and not have insurgents going into neighborhoods and terrorize people. the country couldn't do much with it's own resources which is why we're helping them build up their natural resources. (at least that's what we are doing now) i had a boyfriend that was part of the MP unit over there who's helping train them he's also a medic and helps not only americans who are injured but iraqis as well. his unit is there to protect the civilians from the insurgent attacks. i don't see that as a bad thing at all. i don't look at it as meddling either. don't get me wrong i don't agree with the war i don't think we had a real plan going into this but now what they are doing is good and they are trying to help. a lot of people don't realize what our troops are over there doing all they see is war and death. they see what the media wants them to see. yes there are times where mistakes have been made or some soldiers have killed civillians instead of protecting them. that is a rarer instance than it seems because it gets so much media coverage when it does happen. as much as i dislike bush he may be onto something with his new plan of setting up mini forts in troubled neighborhoods. it takes a lot for me to admit he may have any idea that's decent!! so not all of the middle east hates us just the ones who want to terrorize. every soldier i've talked to said they were welcomed by the citizens.

I feel very bad that we are soo hated in the Middle East..It seems we are damn if we do and damn if we don't...it seems like not to many people care to focus on some of the good things we have brought to the Iraq nation...only want to dwell on the mistakes and negative outcome...every war going to have mistakes...
All I want is World Peace...Everybody Love Everybody...I have forgiveness in my heart for all the evil going on in the world because that is what God expects out of me and I obey his laws and commandments...I respect all religions...and most of all...I Believe We Are All Children of the Same God...God takes on many names throughout the world which is okay with me because I know and believe that God is still God...just that one God who loves all his children no matter what religion they decide to follow...Peace & Love To All The World from the USA...Namaste

No, not really. We need to stop meddling. Dubya is catching the heat for years of mismanagement by all past presidents. Itmight be time to go back to our former position of isolationism.

No. Most fascist dictators and terrorists hate the countries trying to protect themselves from them.
