It seems the once great Democratic party has been hijacked by the far left and will depose any plan for victory the President has to offer. Their thirst for power knows no bounds.

America is trying to help the Muslim community by providing a safe and free democracy in the midst of their horrible region.

This makes our Country great.

We are not over there because of Colonization. We know that unless something is done about Islamicfascism and their pledge to destroy America and Western civilation, we are doomed.

We are there for a noble cause.

President Bush isn't murdering our troops like the liberal biased media and anti-American liberals want people to think.

Islamicfascists are.

Anti-American Islamicfascists hate freedom and America and have pledged the destruction of America.

Liberals support that.

Depose? Thirst for power? These are a bit over the top. The Democrats and many Republicans are debating, not attempting to depose, the plans of the president. In that particular case, the "new" plan for "victory" is not particularly new or better than any other plan so far. Bush cannot even describe the "victory" he is seeking. Noone is trying to wrest power here. Congress is acting within the scope of its' condtitutional powers to balance the constitutional powers of the president. Somewhere along the line, the Supreme Court (waht a great name!) will come into the discussion to determine the constitutionality of any decisions. This is called a "Balance of Power" and it is how our government works together to solve problems.

I ask you how we can unite behind a man that would be a dictator if born other then the United States, his my way or the highway, with us or against us philosophy is dividing us and will continue to divide us. Remember in all good legislation there is compromise. George Bush will not compromise, therefore the division gets wider and wider, thank God he only has two more years to damage the country.

WE THE PEOPLE for the sake of our forefathers, and our CONSTITUTION should UNITE, yes, of course.
I pledged allegiance, was raised in a poor school, with old books, that still remain in my heart, and am very patriotic, but I am for the land and for the people, not against the government , but not entirely for them either. I believe that things can be changed without violence and without violent wars, but, I do not think man alone can accomplish it. They have not been able to do so for thousands of years, I think that only God himself can fix things.
Their thirst for power knows no bounds? What about George Bushs thirst for power? Sneaking in bills on bills that create serious problems for the people of America ? I do think they should give him what he needs to help Iraq, we OWE it to them now. We are obligated to help. We started it. No matter how much I hate the war, I think congress needs to give him the okay to finish the job.

You must have stepped out of the room when republican members of congress were grilling Rice, questioning the feasibility of the presidents plan. There are a lot of skeptics on both sides of the isle.

Maybe if the Republicans were not spending money like a drunken sailors at a whorehouse, they would have retained a few more seats.
