More likely chaos.
Bush is ignoring two most important conclusions of the Iraq Study Group which are to set a timetable for troops to pull out of Iraq and engage in regional and international support for the Iraqi government.
Iraq's government is weak because it doesn't have enough regional and international support. Not even the US friendly Arab states support it.
Its important that the US engages diplomatically, militarily just scares people.
Leaders have made history with forgiving thier political adversaries. The US can make history if it does that.
I doubt whether Bush can do that :-(
Peace to the world.

Sounds rather temporary to me,And after these troops leave, in 5years,10 years,20 years, whenever, the Ideology we are trying to change will still be there, and ALL the KINGS MEN ,are never going to win that battle ( The Shia and Sunni will be at it until "They" decide a victor)

It can go either way. Although it takes a lot of cops to stop a riot, unless the root cause of the rioting is address the violence won't end.
In the case of Iraq, I think they hope for a period of tranquility so people can have open dialog rather than violence.

It might bring a temporary peace to the region, but lets be honest. This nation has been worn torn for thousands of years. If we or anyone else sets up a puppet government....sooner rather than later this place is going to have problems. And sooner or later maybe our government will smarten up and relize this.

Well. as a military veteran, highly trained to handle civil unrest, I can tell you emphatically that a total of 23 brigades(18 Iraqi and 5 U.S.) in Baghdad would be an over-whelming presence . You wouldn't be able to walk down ANY street, without encountering the military presence . And, you should know that 50 U.S. soldiers can handle more than 500 dissenters . ( Experience )
I think it will work !!!

America is trying to help the Muslim community by providing a safe and free democracy in the midst of their horrible region.
This makes our Country great.
We are not over there because of Colonization. We know that unless something is done about Islamicfascism and their pledge to destroy America and Western civilation, we are doomed.
We are there for a noble cause.
President Bush isn't murdering our troops like the liberal biased media and anti-American liberals want people to think.
Islamicfascists are.
Anti-American Islamicfascists hate freedom and America and have pledged the destruction of America.
Liberals support that.

I can guarantee you one thing and that is that Pres. Bush did not just wake up one mourning and say...I think I'll send 20,000 troops to Iraq today. This is what bothers me more than anything else about the libs, the media and the garbage that is forces to us on our air waves.
If I were president and our top generals were coming to me for help. Telling me that they need more troops, their getting my support and their getting more troops. Period. This is what the media is refusing to report. Their are dozens of people if not hundreds that make decisions concerning Iraq and our national security.

If we as Americans support and unify each other the world will shake in their boots and await our direction as they did shortly after 9/11. A unified American people is the most powerful catalyst on Earth for change. Our infighting only emboldens the rest of the world who gladly sits back and awaits to seize opportunities that present themselves as American and coalition forces die in the war on terror.
The far left in American politics practices the same ideology all in an effort to gain more power and impose there morals or lack thereof upon us as a people. The far left divides us as a nation and happily so. United we stand Divided we fall.
