the Tsunami warnings were posted for Alaska and Hawaii.. from the quake in japan...both were canceled ..didn't materalize... the quake must not have ruptured the ocean floor as thought..

A fery slight tsunami ( like 4 ft ). No real damage created.

It happened 1,000 miles offshore and had tsunami warnings but, nothing happened. Our local NBC channel had it on regular news already.
