Best thing to do is to use Orange direct (either Retail, orange.co.uk or their telesales on 0800 079 0435) as for the same price you mentioned, you would get 500mins and unlimited texts (the 500 is for "indirect" such as phones 4 u etc). In fact, if you use the web or telesales you would get 550mins.
The minutes are for: Any UK Mobile network, Any UK Landline (i.e numbers beginning with 01 or 02). Numbers beginning with 0800 are charged at 10p per minute, 0845/0870 vary between 10p and 35p per minute and 09 numbers vary between 50p and £3 per minute. International calls and directory enquiries are also not included (for directory enquiries - try 118 000 which is Orange's own).
Hope this answers your question.

Im not sure what you're asking? Are you looking for a contract that costs £35 and whereby you get 500 mins and texts? Or are you saying you have found a contract that offers 500 mins and text? I don't think the free mins would cover non-free helplines, etc. I am with Orange and if I have to ring 0800 or 0845 (or something like that) numbers I have to pay as it is not covered by free mins! Free mins only apply to other mobiles and other UK landline numbers. Furthermore free mins do not cover premium rate numbers.

I'm On Orange, and if your willing to pay £35 a month, you be best to go for one of ther unlimited price plans, where for £35 a month you an either get unlimited texts or unlimited calls. Im on Dolphin 35, and for £35 a month i get unlimited text messages, and 500 any time, any network calls. Hope this helps!!
