I was just watching Fantastic Four and realised that it takes all four of them (Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch and Thing) to beat Dr. Doom. Therefore, doesn't that makes him the most powerful villian because it takes a combined might to beat him as oppossed to like Dr. Octupus, who only needs Spiderman to beat him.
What does everyone else think?
Tell me who you think is the most powerful villian and why.

P.S. This is in respects to the comics, not the films. The films just put this question in my head.

As far as pure devastation and power goes then Galactus. Other than that Magneto definitely ranks up there. Lets spare a thought for The Kingpin though, after all whilst he may not personally run around throwing heroes through the air but he does (recent problems aside) control all the crime in New York thus so many other villains could be considered aspects of his power.

i really do see where your coming from with this one.
really how super is superman if lex luther nearly beats him in 5 movies!
i think if pushed anyone of those four could beat dr doom, however i'm a spiderman/batman fan.
and the best villian has to be joker, not just because he was the first in the movies.i really belive he was pure evil with a smile.

venom! is the most powerful! he is spiderman reborn with alien dna.

but what do i know!

Magneto and Dr. Doom take almost all of the main Heroes to beat them.

I'd say it'd be either Thanos (wiped out half of the universe during Infinity Gauntlet), or Annihilus, who is still wreaking havoc after killing Quasar and even imprisoning Galactus.

Gotta be Magneto. Electromagnetism is one of the basic forces of nature (probably the 2nd strongest that we know of). Plus it takes an entire team of x-men to get him.
