Yes, she has been in your womb for nine months. She will recognize the sound of your voice, your body temperature, maybe even your scent...
But she will instinctively know you are her mommy... :-)
Enjoy it and good luck!
PS: If you're 7 months pregnant or more, she hears you already! If you like to sing, you could sing her the same song every night before you go to sleep.
After her birth, she will recognize the song and it will help to comfort her and to make her go to sleep!

Yes she will. Your baby recognizes u as her mother and even your voice by the 7th month of pregnancy. That is why its said that for the father and the mother to talk to your baby everyday, especially the father so your baby can get to know his voice and know him when the baby is born. Everytime u speak, cough, cry, whisper your baby hears you and can determine u from everyone else. The baby knows your EXACT heartbeat, voice and touch before he/she even enters the world. When he/she comes out the way your baby will hold u and look at you will tell u right then that she knows you are her mother.

Your baby won't know much about you other than your smell (babies have been studied to prefer the smell of their own mother's milk over a stranger's) and the sound of your voice, which she heard in the uterus while you were pregnant. She may also recognize her father with these same senses. Babies grow to recognize your facial features as their eyesight becomes better and their memory becomes better. Long term memory in babies occurs approximately 7-8 months, so even if you were to give your baby up, or if something were to happen to you that prevented you from seeing her anymore, she might still remember you. Most of what she'll know as far as your being her mother is going to be contextual; she'll learn it through daily life.

You are forming a bond with your baby from the first day you get pregnant. The baby get familiar with your voice and anyone else around. I just had my first and contemplating how I cold form an instant bond with someone. But you do! It is un-explainable. It is something that nature takes control of. You will hear it your whole pregnancy. But it is true you don/t get it until you see them. You will both love each other more than you can ever expect! Good luck. You will love being a mom. I promise!

She will not know what to call you until she reaches that stage. By taking care of her, she will know that you are the person to signal to when she needs something. She will respond to your voice because she has heard you talk from the moment her hearing has developed. Hearing you while she is in the womb is how she knows that you are the important person to her. Just tell her "mommy loves you" and that is how she knows you are the mommy.

Yes your baby will know its you by your voice. They hear you for months. They also are just tuned to know who mommy is. I have a 7 week old and its so cool to see other people holding her but she is looking for you! They may move there head, or just look for you. Congrats and good luck its the hardest thing in the world but its the greatest at the same time.
Remember this It gets easier!!!!!
people keep telling me that and it does!

I read that newborn babies do recognize their mommy's voice that they have often heard from inside the tummy, know their mothers by smell and within 8 to 10 days can distinguish their hairline and approximate facial structure too. Don't worry, your love will let your baby know who is her mommy.

Ha ha, she'll know when you tell her.... Never heard that one before. She'll know right away, even with her eyes closed, that you are her mommy because of your voice. She's heard you talking (hopefully to her sometimes too) for the past I'm not sure how many mths, at least 4 or 5 I think. She knows her daddy too! That's why it's important to talk to your newborn, and that usually will calm them when nothing else will. It can take a few weeks for their vision to become clear enough to recognise you by sight, but straight away they'll learn your smell and recognise you that way too. Sleep with a little stuffed animal to place near them with they sleep, so they always have 'you' near to them. It works wonders, at least with my daughter it did.

YES SHE WILL KNOW YOU ARE HER MOMMY!! When they are in the womb they are getting to know you. They can hear you, so when she is born she will recognize your voice. When you hold her for the first time (even though this is the first time) she will recognize your touch and it will make her happy and feel safe! They can pick up on every emotion you are feeling. When she is born she will be able to tell when you are happy, sad, and even mad. You will notice when you are happy she will be happy, when you are sad she will be sad, and this will happen with every emotion you will feel. This is a really cool feeling. SHE WILL KNOW YOU AND HOW TO MAKE YOUR DAY!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! THIS IS A HAPPY TIME FOR YOU!
I WISH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY MUCH HAPPINESS!!!!

Yes, the baby hears your voice from inside you all day for 9 moths. The baby will recognize your voice as well as the people you spent alot of time with like your husband. But it will be your voice the baby will immediatly respond to.
