Hi every one
I can not find the public chat rooms in Yahoo messenger.
where is it and how can I get into it?
I look at the menu on top of messenger and it has
1) Messenger
2) Contacts
3) Action
where is the Chat room?

it is best not to go in there ya get worms sent thru to you thru IM messenging as anitvirus cant scan im;s only emails.. also then ur name gets on a huge spam list - if you feel you must subject yourslef to a bunch of teens who dotn carfe or pervs waiting to chat u up then you click your messenger once your on to the tab messenger up top a drop down list comes up scroll down to yahoo chat..then to the right it says join room then a big box comes up all categories are on left side click the one you want then to the right the different sections of that subject of interest comes up. i persoanlly in yahoo 360 you can make your own interests rgoup and get connected thru what YOU want to chat about and whom, you want to talk to not all people online as it can be risky for you and your comp. the net is a vulnerable place although some are highly addicted and find it fascinating of all the new mystery about it. i also suggest when your in chat to have your firewall on

which version of Yahoo messenger are you using? if its the latest one its under the messenger tab.
click on messenger - yahoo chat - join a room..

click on messenger and you'll get a drop down menu then scroll down to yahoo chat

I don't believe it is available anymore. If you use Linux, then download GYache Improved, and you will have many public chat rooms to join.
Of course the Linux version is for Mandriva 10.1, SUSE, Debian and Debian based systems.

look under messenger , it will say yahoo chat

Public chatrooms are not available in Yahoo any more. I think it has been removed by Yahoo.
