I wish I was born in Victorian times, all that Dickensian stuff. London in those days was really buzzin and I would love to have ridden in a horse and cart. And the clothes were lovely- especially all those lovely long dresses.

I like when I was born. It was the height of the Cold War, computer technology was just becoming within reach of the average consumer, and people drove AMC Gremlims, which I think deserve a mention. As a child I got to see the Berlin Wall collapse, the disintegration of the Soviet Empire, the rise of the American superpower, the birth of the Internet, two space shuttle explosions, two wars in Iraq, four United States presidents (one of whom got impeached), the WTC bombings in 1993 and 2001, the Oklahoma City bombing, OJ, the Rwandan Genocide, wars in the Balkans, the re-unification of East and West Germany, and every episode of the Simpsons starting in season one. Who wants to live in the middle ages?

During the early pioneer days when Native Americans and Americans were still working together and the Great Plains were being explored. I love adventure and traveling, don't mind being wiht just a few people or solitaire, and it would also lend insight into the lives of different tribes (or at least one) if I could befriend a member of that tribe.

I would love to be born a MAN in England (lest I end up some poet's slave-wench of a wife) during 1770's. This would make me 20 or so, come the French Revolution. I would join in with Coleridge, Wordsworth, and the like, and write. My dream: just one time to be able to take a walking tour with Coleridge and probe his brain-- It was such an exciting time to be young, male, educated, and free.

i might want to p.c.. the colonial frontier contained in the south contained in the 1760's and 70's. i might want to favor to be a "lengthy hunter", and stay the existence an early Tennessee settler lived after. i'd not stay by the 12 months 1777, the 12 months of the bloody sevens yet i might want to have some exhilaration if I did. i might want to favor to be on the Kings Mountain strive against, or with the Donelson party on the river's to Nashbourough, or James Robertson's crossing the Cumberland on ice to got here upon it. the purely time in recorded historic past the Cumberland iced over that demanding. If I lived that lengthy then i might want to had countless exhilaration in existence. I doubt i might want to have made it a lot longer because countless the early settlers were killed in Indian attacks.....nonetheless it would want to been nicely worth it.

I would want to live in Northern Europe, anytime before the midlle of the 700's. Back in a time when honor, strength and courage were the order of the day. Back when the ancient gods (Odin, Loki, Thor) held sway.

My favorite historical era is pre-revolutionary France. But it really sucked to be non-nobility in those days. Also, disease, fleas, and lack of regular bathing would not be nice. But I love those dresses & two foot high wigs w/ships and such tucked in.
