SHould we ask yahoo to pick people who have come across as good counsellors, dedicated and not point seekers, to answer and help guide people in the right direction what with crumbling relationships, especially for those who cannot afford therapy but need assistance regardless?

No. That wouldn't be fair many times. As a marriage counselor, your work with the couple..you hear both sides of the issues. If you did it this way, you would only be hearing one side. Everyone perceives things differently so you may be doing more harm than good only hearing one side of the story.

I think your idea is a good one. I'm single myself, but looking at a lot of these questions it does seem like it is something that could be really helpful for a lot of people. you've got my vote!
