Can you check that you have th term right coz I know no term similar to taht which fits with eye problems;

Saltation, perhaps?
(Saltatory.. means "jumping", from the Latin)

If it's the eyelids twitching, that is principally fatigue, possibly exacerbated by marginal potassium deficiency
(try fresh tomato juice or bananas). |

If it refers to eye movements then it is more likely to be a variation of nystagmus, which comes with a range of causes, including labyrinthitis, neurological disease and medication side-effects.
Acquired nystagmus should be thoroughly investigated.
