Is the "h" pronounced in the word forehead?

of course the 'h' is pronounced. four-hed with a short e and the accent is on the first syllable, four.
Edit: of course I'm American...this IS the USA board after all...

The common pronunciation, in Australia anyway, (& according to the Oxford English Dictionary,) is "forr-ed".

I say fore-head and pronounce the h.
To say fahr-ed or forrid, sounds like horrid.
