From Irish, to Scottish, to Chinese I don't care start listing what's out there. I would love to get a good collection of books. Even if it has been out of print fopr a 100 years I would love to know.

You can look up fairy tales from various nations/cultures. There are excellent fairy tales in just about every culture. Quite a few are considered to be folk tales...

Some that I have enjoyed (or been told about):
Russian Fairy Tales by Afanasev
East of the Sun West of the Moon (my personal favorite)
Norwegian fairy tales

A library would be the best place to start. Then, buy whatever you enjoy the best. My favorite rendition of East of the Sun.. is called "Once Upon a Winter's Night" by Dennis McKiernan.
Irish fairy tales

I loved the ORIGINAL tales by the Brother's Grimm. They were
not pretty stories but scared the daylights out of you. I can't wait
to see what others post here for you. I love good stories too and I know that the Yahoo-ers will hook you up!
