something that has to marinade overnight and then simmer for hours on the stove, so they know you've spent time and effort on it. Something like the beef casserole I'm making tonight, which has been marinading in red wine and garlic since yesterday.

i have this recipe for whole-grain roasted citrus chicken....it is so juicy and tender. I serve it with baked sweet potato rounds that are drizzeled with olive oil, rosemary, salt,pepper, and garlic. It is one of my favorite recipes to make for other people because both are pretty and very tasty!
