I'd vote that we keep the zoos.

Definately keep.

There are two types of zoos- the ones based more on captive breeding and research (mainly the big zoos) and the smaller ones that allow people to have hands on contact with exotic animals.
I work at one of the smaller, private/family run zoos. I wish that the cages could be bigger but space and money does not allow it. (They are decent, just not huge). You can't imagine how many people we get in that think our porcupine is a baby bear (not kidding!) They can get hands on petting of the animals and can see and feel the differences.
We have daily and weekly enrichment programs- while the animals might not have the biggest and best cage- they are happy. As soon as all the visitors leave, they are jumping and yapping every time they see us, waiting for a pet or a new toy.

Both zoos are needed. At the big zoos you can see the more natural type of habitat and major research and captive breeding can be done. People can see, but can't touch. At the smaller ones people can actually touch the animals and see close up what they look like, and therefore learn a lot more about the animal.
If they learn about it- they may be more willing to try to protect them in the future.

Keep the zoos. Zoos help educate people about the world around them. How else are children going to learn about all the different wildlife that is living out there?

Keep Zoo's. There are many endangered species in the Zoo's. If we let the animals go, they would die. Plus the fact that many of the animals were born in captivity and they would not be able to survive on their own in the wild.
