I happen to have an Epson 2400 as well, and I went and bought ink online, and put the ink in, and lo' and behold I didn't realize until after the fact that I was suppose to put it in with my computer on and through using the steps for printing.... Just click on the printer symbol which will let you know your out of ink, and there should also be a spot to click for direction's as to putting it in.... click that and follow each step, as you click passed each one you've already done...... Good-luck, to you!! Its pretty basic, not hard at all to do!! Smile!!!

click the change button on that print tree time to change that ink cartridges .

it either shows you on the cover on the inside or the new printer cartridge will have instructions with it
