Ok so you and your mom go to the register with the clothes and your mom opens her wallet, takes out the money and instead of handing it to the cashier hands it to you to hand to the cashier? People don't do that because it is annoying to the cashier and to the people in line.

I don't have any kids, but when I look back at the clothes that I used to pick out.....*shudder*
And one time, when I was 10 or something, my mom gave me several $20 bills to buy my clothes (for back to school shopping, she gave me the money and sat on a bench outside)....and then I dropped it. Needless to say, she wasn't pleased. I learned how to buy stuff from looking at her when she paid for it.
And if you buy clothes with a credit card, it won't work.

Do yu think it might be because they don't know how at like 5 & 6? Those you have to supervise. The older ones, sure.

Children at that age don't know how to spend money.
But, you can help them to select clothes online.
