They do DNA testing. Whether they are doing mDNA test, you have to find out.They are the best in this field in India.At least they will tell you where this specialised test can be done.

m not sure if its available for forensic purposes yet.. for the court to accept these types of evidence first of all the process has to be in abundance.. then there has to be certain laws passed that would indicate that this is a trustable procedure.. in america it seems abundant because it was developed and existed here since the begining.. however u may find institutions in india who do provide dna tests.. but that probably will be some sort of a research institute or university labs etc
