I would like to mention that The Dead Sea is not located in Israel!!! It is located in Jordan! It has the lowest point on earth and it has a content 33% salt which makes any plant or animal life impossible. You also need to shower almost immediatly after floating in it as the salt irritates the skin. And it is not shrinking because of Global warming it is shrinking because more and more water from the River Jordan is being diverted for irrigation purposes... The River Jordan is the only sorce of water for the Dead Sea.

That's the Dead Sea - it contains a lot of sea salts which holds people up, and this sea also holds healing properties, like healing open sores, et... It's important to be careful and not to get that water into your eyes because it could cause serious damage...

There is currently two, the Salton Sea in California and what used to be called a sea, ( lake now ) Great Salt Lake in Utah, if you've never tried either one try 'em you'll be in for a treat.

The Dead Sea. In Israel, I think. It's the same one Jesus walked across in the Bible. It was a bit saltier back then... And it's shrinking from the effects of global warming, too.
