You'd be spending 60 hours a week in front of the TV set, that's what it would be like.

Well if you never knew about PCs and the internet you wouldn't know any difference. I grew up in Alaska in the 50's on an isolated military base. We had no PCs, internet, TV or radio until about 1957(TV then). Life was great .. I played in the woods and ran myself silly. I had a ton of friends and I knew all my neighbors. "Family" was the thing...we all ate dinner around a table every night because there were no distractions. I thought a lot ... I dreamed a lot. But, having said that, I would not go back ... I love PCs and the internet.

Not that bad. Life would go on. You would live, I would live, people would get outside more often and do things, like excersize. I remember always being outside when I was a kid, now kids are inside playing games or myspacing all freaking day!
Geeze, without computers and the internet, we might actually have to go somewhere and be around actual people! Wouldnt that be terrible.

this is a good question that some one will ask him self, for me if there is no PCs and Internet life will be difficult like before, because these collection serves and brings long distance to be closer and make work easier, without this there is no way for we (World) come together at the same time while at different places in the world sharing ideas and knowledge, laerning and helping one another, so, difficulties ahead without these collection.

We would be gloriously sitting on the beach looking up to the stars with the lovely sound of the sea caressing our ears.

Add the telephone to that list, and maybe we would learn to talk to each other in our families, and wouldn't be playing crazy computer games. We could learn to be human again, and not a slave to electronics.

Everyone that couldn't sleep at night would be stuck watching crappy infomercials instead of asking strange questions in yahoo answers.

Instead of "Virtual Reality" we might actually go outside and experience "Actual Reality".
