Civilized

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I want to be civilized
I want to be civilized
I just need to know
What I need to know
To know how to be civilized

It's not a word
It's a feeling
More like a thought
Than a real thing
I want to change
More than I want you to change
I want to be civilized

Everyone can be my friend
Now I realize
All I need to understand
Is how to be civilized, yeah

In a world of desperate acts
It's no fun to be surprised
We will only be relaxed
When we become civilized

I want to stop feeling envy
'Cause I can't go on this empty
Nothing else matters
I don't hate you too
I want to be civilized
