Yes, because they are pandering to a conservative Republican audience, and many conservative Republicans, for whatever reasons, are obsessed with people who hold their point of view.
Of course, if you confront anyone who works for Fox News about this their general argument would be that if they look skewed to the left, it's because everyone else's reporting is skewed to the right.
On a related note, the other day I heard Randi Rhodes say on her show that after the President's speech on Wednesday night, the major networks went back to regular programming and didn't cover the Democratic response. I believe she said it was by Senator Harry Reid.
Hear that, conservatives?
The supposedly biased, mainstream, anti-Republican, pro-Democrat, LIBERAL MEDIA......did not cover the Democratic response to the President's speech on Wednesday night.
Do they still have a liberal bias?

PS: There is a bashing by omission. Consider the numerous Liberal books that come out and get intense coverage on "Good Morning America" and news shows, yet you see nothing like that kind of coverage for conservative books.

Your source certainly isn't biased is it ? Ever here of Hannity an Colmes ? Did you ever watch the Katrina coverage, they pretty much slammed everyone on that. As far as showing proof, look in the mirror. MSNBC is 24 hours a day anti republican, watch it for 10 minutes and you will see some kind of report on what republican are doing wrong. On FOX, like it or not, they do report both sides all the time. Just because you watch with one eye and listen with one ear, does not make it so.

I actually believe them to be in the middle as they allow both sides to speak on issues. The same way Hannity and Colmes do.
