Sun is ultimate source of energy..
Even the heat,vitamin-d we get is from sun...
The fossil fuels are also a form of stored solar energy..
Wind ,air currents too are results of it.
Sun keeps us warm by I.R radiation.
Sun enables us to see different seasons.
Also it provide us the daylight.

What a silly question. Life would not be possible without the energy we receive from the Sun.
There are some ecosystems which don't directly rely on the Sun for survival (e.g. thermal vents on the ocean floor), but these too would be lifeless without the sun and the earth would be a popsicle.

This question calls for another........
"Do your own homework"
reply.
Please, think about it. This is a no brainer - even if it is in regard to energy and electricity. Getting people to answer here then cut and paste into your homework and hand that in will constitute PLAGIARISM and it is a serious offense.
(and what if you are asked to explain your homework - you woldn't be able to because you didn't think of the answers. How embarassing that would be?)

The sun is a mass of incandescent gas
A gigantic nuclear furnace
Where Hydrogen is built into Helium
At a temperature of millions of degrees
The sun is hot, the sun is not
A place where we could live
But here on Earth there'd be no life
Without the light it gives
We need its light, we need its heat
The sun light that we seek
The sun light comes from our own sun's
Atomic energy
The sun is a mass of incandescent gas
A gigantic nuclear furnace
Where Hydrogen is built into Helium
At a temperature of millions of degrees
The sun is hot...
The sun is so hot that everything on it is a gas
Aluminum, Copper, Iron, and many others
The sun is large...
If the sun were hollow, a million Earth's would fit inside
And yet, it is only a middle size star
The sun is far away...
About 93,000,000 miles away
And that's why it looks so small
But even when it's out of sight
The sun shines night and day
We need its heat, we need its light
The sun light that we seek
The sun light comes from our own sun's
Atomic energy
Scientists have found that the sun is a huge atom smashing machine
The heat and light of the sun are caused by nuclear reactions between
Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Carbon, and Helium
The sun is a mass of incandescent gas
A gigantic nuclear furnace
Where Hydrogen is built into Helium
At a temperature of millions of degrees

in one way or the other,it is our sole source of energy. It supplies oxygen by photosynthesis,it gives energy to trees that are cut down to burn in fireplaces,it causes winds by heating oceans and land masses that create differences in atmospheric pressure. One event leads to another, but without the sun, we wuold all be dead within a few months.
