no where is safe. people are so highly stressed these days, anyone is capable of anything on the spur of the moment. its scary to think this way but you just cant trust people the same way as you use to be able too.

Our planet is not a safe place to live. There are many miseries present and danger at every step. Yes, we are responsible for being here, we were put here in this miserable condition due to our own desires and misdeeds.

At any moment, the volcano under yellowstone national park could explode, destroy america and wreck most of the world's socities and cultures.
A big metior could hit.
A huge solar flare MIGHT strip the atmosphere.
Only the volcano one is iminant and worrying, but seriously, the world isn't safe, and there's no point worrying about it.

Of course we are not living in a safe world. I think most part is because western governments are so liberal that they care more about being politically correct than doing the right thing for their people.

the world was never "safe". our primitive ancestors had to fend for themselves against nature and the wild animals. we can still be killed by both.
agreed, we live in a "safer" world now; we've got it narrowed down to only one enemy-the human race.
