Man, it wasn't just a dull, rusty spoon, it was a dull, rusty grapefruit spoon that was handed down to me from my grandmother. But, 19 years later, I stop and say hello every chance I get. For one, we were both young then, and since her, I have had many a great (and some not so great) relationships, and am now in a very long term one that is far better than the one I had with her. Secondly, I have improved myself greatly in that time, while she has kind of stayed in that same place, and it is kind of nice to rub it in, and make her know what she walked out on.

I'd properly look them up and down and say something like "wow the years have not been good to you have they" then walk off like I owned the world. It may be petty but I would have been waiting 13 years to get them back for what they did and if I had the chance to make them feel pathetic then I would take that chance!!

Yes and I would have a ton of questions and want answers too.
Sometimes things aren't always as they appeared.
at least by confronting the person you can either feel vindicated about your feelings or proven wrong. either way you have cleared the air and can now put complete closure on that part of your past!
Did I shock you too much DUDE with this serious answer!!!?????
Have a terrific Saturday!

Knowing me, I'd probably stop and say hello and try to play up how well my life has been the last 13 years without them...then go home....

Living well is the best revenge. I would just barely acknowledge their being there and would act cool and indifferent. No need to hurt back as your so much better off w/o them.

I'd say hello, and when the conversations start about life, that person how much better life is since they've been gone..

I would say hello...talk to them for a bit...then say good-bye. But maybe that person wants to apologize for his/her bad actions? Give them the chance...

Probably because I have learned over the years that it is better to forgive and forget than hold a grudge.
