Anyone want to tell them they are too old to wear their leather mini skirts that they have been wearing? No? Thats right because they aren't. No one is. If it makes you feel good, wear it. All these people saying someone is too old to wear this or wear that. I can't wait till you get to that age. I think a lot of women get more attractive as they get older. More class and more individuality. I can't wait till you get close to your 40s and see how young and full of life you are. Then have someone tell you that you are to old to wear something. You can then laugh and carry on with your day.
I would be a hell of a lot more concerned with what a parent did with their children in public than what they were wearing.
A leather skirt while taking your kids out? If it floats your boat why not?

I do have a miniscule brown leather skirt from Zara. think its 8"!!! I wear it low on my hips so it covers my backside. I am 24 now. I think you can dress it up and look tarty or dress it down and look kind of chic. I tend to wear it with flat boots, brown tights, a fitted vest top and a cord suit jacket, with kind of hippy jewellery. Because I'm showing a bit of leg I don't wear a low cut top. Only wear this on nights out.
I think it looks ok but I certainly hope I don't look tarty!!!
I plan to continue to wear this type of outfit until well into my 30s. I have no boobs (32c) so I have to play up my best assets - lol!
I don't really feel it would be appropriate for a mother to wear a mini skirt when she is out with her children. Unless perhaps she was a teen mum and is taking her teenage daughter to a club with her. That could be ok I suppose.

I think it's inappropriate for a mother around that age to be walking around the street in a tight ,shiny, short, mini skirt. I mean like cheerleaders wear those kind of skirts to get guys and stuff so I just think it's wrong.

Denim and she or he's now 40. She does not relatively placed on MINI skirts yet she does placed on skirts.. She has a sturdy discern however and does not relatively seem her age. She has a sturdy valuable approach and so human beings understand she isn't purely yearning interest in case you notice what i propose. i do no longer think of my mum could ever think of roughly donning a leather-based mini skirt. It screams bondage! As for me I placed on a biker leather-based jacket yet for an identical reason could under no circumstances placed on a leather-based skirt... wish this facilitates :S

Alot of the time, people forget about not being a teenager anymore, even thou they still feel young in the inside, they look older and different from back when a skirt that short was apprioriate.

I think that skirts tend to either look kind of trashy or cheap if they are tight and short, or they are really just the run of the mill jean skirts that aren't necessarily sexy.

Why would it be inappropriate? My mother is in her 50's and she still wears one out.
You need to rise out of the dark ages.
